The dust can get into the pipes and the furnace and you'll have to hire a duct cleaners to clean them and they are not cheap.Also be very careful with the open heaters because they can start a fire especially if there are wood particles in the air.

Floors are made of Particle board, not plywood, so small leaks under sinks or tubs will cause significant damage.GOOD NEWS:  While Mobile Homes take a lot of getting used to, they can be very lucrative and have a really low barrier to entry.

I find older cabinets have better wood than particle board loaded new ones.

Particle board countertops from home centers start to crumble almost immediately. 

Either painted particle board, long lead time or pricier than we'd like.  

The urine caused all the particle baseboards to bubble and they had to be replaced.

You can limit the spread of bulk dirt and debris but it's impossible to stop the fine particles from finding their way into every closet, space, and surface in the house.

My understanding is the asbestos particles could possibly be released if, say a nail was pounded into he wall to hang a picture, or someone cuts into the wall. 

I'm sure I'll get the frown down from some on this but this is how I see it: If asbestoes related stuff needs to be fixed, I'll do it myself and take care not to inhale particles.
