This is similar to people at auctions saying that the dealers are outbidding them on everything.

My place was on a bad looking street with a drug dealer living next door and for a while there were people living in their car next to my place and then a guy living in his truck in the alley.

A small city near me had what they called the "One strike ordinance", if a rental had anyone arrested for a drug or firearms offense they could shut the unit down for 6 months so nobody could live there!
