@Jonathan Orr  that's quite a coincidence.. my property is 4 acres at the entrance to the Graton Casino... one of those path of progress plays..

Back then, in the county my college is located they allowed local firehouses and charities to run casinos.

It doesn't sound like it was a home poker game that got busted, it sounds like there was a full on casino happening with dealers, etc. and he worked to conceal it.

Would anyone think it is a good idea to invest in new town-homes near a casino?

Anything from small sfr wholesale deals to larger properties including existing hotels, casinos, multiplexes, shopping centers, etc...

Obviously I wouldn't want to go near Casino road...any other advice for that area? 

The dress code is the same when you are looking at houses as it is at Casinos or Neiman Marcus. 

Does your hotel have a restaurant, bar, nightclub, shops, casino, etc?
