I would suggest you set some goals: short term, mid, and long term goals. that will give you a gauge on what direction you will be heading in this industry.

The big question I'm working on is, is more cash flow worth missing out on where Portland appears to be heading?

I'll be heading back stateside more or less a year from now but I would like to start this year.

You can sort of guess I suppose if you know where the property is located but I have rentals that range in value between $10k-$200k/door all in the same area so you'd have to know quite a bit more information.Leverage - You could own 1000 units you acquired subject to that are leveraged 110% and you might be headed to bankruptcy.

Myself and several other BPers will be heading down.  

How much inventory is there in the market and how long is that inventory taking to turn over.Even with that, you can only get a hint of the direction your market may potentially be headed in. 

I know there will be head winds, turbulence, unseen weather conditions and I will have to gather a GREAT crew, SERVE my flight, and LAND with confidence.
