Imagine you want to open a lemonade stand.

It was a market with lots of lemons, so I made lemonade.

Real estate the "tax benefits" tend to come from depreciation, which is really just "lemonade from lemons" and is a deferred tax liabiilty. 

They purchase reinsurance, to insure the insurer (and some rely heavily on re-insurance, like I believe startup Lemonade does, allowing them to “very capital light mode”).

Growing up i always used to love playing lemonade tycoon and all the other type of tycoon games i guess its always been a calling from the jump. 

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade!

I say make some lemonade out of your lemon and put up some advertising (billboard or the like, whatever codes allow) and have some companies give you some passive income for advertising for them.

I realize you have the hassle of rehabbing the home and re-marketing it every time... but sometimes you just have to make lemonade out of lemons.
