Are we seeing the ceilings made of plaster or wallboard, or are we seeing the ceilings made from those little squares that are stapled up there, or two by three drop ceiling tiles?

@Monica Staple I have always found that the term GC gets thrown around a lot without a ton of context.

The printing could be a neighbor thing, tell her she can print at the library or staples, OR it could have been a message from her that she thinks this place should have a printer. some people are that way. 

You can edit and personalize the books as much as you like, then print the book at Staples or another similar store.

And they assemble the modular using staples rather than nails.

Did that guy you hired borrow your ladder, hammer, staple gun, etc...you just provided tools for them to work.

I-if it's "big expense", I get ahead of this issue by whipping out a receipt book (you can buy one at any store like Target, Wal-Mart, Staples, Office Depot, etc) and jot down the work that was performed, materials, hours, amount of people, other expenses, etc.

Thanks Brandon,Yes after removing all of the staples and tackstrips, I did attempt to refinish the hardwood floors myself, unfortunately as a rookie, I did not heed the advice of getting the drum sander.
