That would be fair, but instead, they make you shoulder all the risk.I complained twice, and they finally agreed to let me out of the deal but kept my $10,000.

As others have mentioned, I recommend starting to attend some local meetups here and there just to start brushing shoulders with other brokers, investors, wholesalers, etc. to really get your feet wet without putting money on the line.
