A wake up call for many who have only been in real estate for under ten years and realize not only can they lose money, but they can get completely wiped out and those who started with say $100k investment in 2018 that made 2x are finding that not only is the $100k they made gone but also their original $100k and it will take a bit of time to recover….

I lost a loved one last year and it was a wake up call - life is too short to not have ANY work/life balance.

There needs to be a wake up call. 

Reminds me of going out on my father-in-law's sailboat where an ***hole in a speedboat wrecklessly speeds by creating a wake.

That is usually a wake-up call to the tenant.

A old friend of mine used to say: "No need to by a ticket to a wake!" 

You spend two-thirds of your life awake and most people spend half of that in a 9-5 (in my case 8-5) job.

So, apparently it is NOT all in good fun to some at least (not implying that's you Brent) ... this party just turned into a wake, so drink up indeed.

You may also need to show proof of your down payment and closing costs, depending on how awake the selling agent is.
