I try to handle the situation to avoid further issues down the road. in your instance i'll put some fans on to dry the area and continue to get a repair man.

It turned out to be a problem with the AC that cause the leak, but the repair man the landlord sent made a huge hole in my ceiling and my landlord is refusing to fix it saying that it is my responsibility.
