Most of the fraud was scheme's set up to get those who DID NOT qualify for go zone to invest.. and or builder promotors who ripped off out of area investors.. much like happens all over the US when folks buy into a market they really don't know. 

LOLBiggests thing to come out of this though will be the negative publicity and internet stuff this is sure to harm future attendance at events. thats where you really hurt the promotor..  

However they are not near as simple, easy, lucrrative or risk free as promotors imply.

I know this industry.. it starts with the promotor/ that's Morris he dictates what product he is going to represent..

An enthusiastic investor is one thing, an enthusiastic investor (LP) who is also acting as a part time promotor / paid capital raiser for the (GP) is another.

It is exactly how you described it except that now the "promotors" are Christina and Tarek El Moussa of Flip or Flop. 

He went to all the presentations & got to know the promotors, the GP's & especially the passive investors.  

But as both the promotors and those playing devil's advocate note, this really comes down to a cost benefit analysis based on each person's unique situation, and simply a deferral.I am curious @Bonnie Griffin Kaake and @Julio Gonzalez, you both mention free assessment/analysis.
