If for some crazy reason they've already deferred all those payments and they still don't have enough money, buy them enough groceries to keep them and their family nourished and start eviction proceedings.

I see they are doing beach nourishment in some areas, how is performing that decided?  

My interest in this thread is because I think it's a good idea to be better prepared with stuff that can be eaten from a can, and is nourishing, and though I should be able to get out for a major shopping at the end of that 5-6 weeks, it isn't always do-able, and some extra supplies could be helpful.

As you look at the charges in your credit card or other statement, you can be grateful for the food that nourished you, the farmers, truckers, distributors, stores that sold it.

More erosion happens on the Eastern parts and the terminal groin at OIB or the nourishment projects are only a temp solution.

. - One thing to note about the changing sea/beach/tides is that 5 years ago they did a beach nourishment program where they literally dredged sand from the ocean floor onto the beach to widen it. 

We do intend to stay in the niche, nourish our business, and grow over time.

Erosion can be an issue but the various towns along the Outer Banks participate in beach nourishment which help stabilize the beaches.   

Therefore they are doing their best to maximize the ROI in that business.But, to do that, you need capital to build, grow, nourish and scale that business.
