But I was just trying to point out that as much as you mourn the fact that people who selflessly give away time and knowledge are far and few between, I mourn the fact that when I generously try to give my time, knowledge, and money away to newbies, for reasons I do not understand they turn me away.

Mourning takes time so to not be abrasive is to be smart, but it's a fine line that has to be walked, no doubt. 

Inadequate healthcare, inadequate housing, inadequate working conditions, that left Black, brown and Indigenous communities in mourning.

First thing to do would be to gauge the family's state of mourning.

Stop mourning the tragic loss of your illusions.

I know we are all mourning the loss of our wildcats but I am looking to transfer properties to an LLC for the first time. 

As you drive mourned it you'll see quite a few dumpsters indicating properties getting flipped or the fresh coats of paint/stucco in grey color indicating they've already been flipped in the last 5 years.
