There's a "rare" case of the property owner declaring bankruptcy before the day of the sale... you can lose your entire bid amount that way... that's atleast what a lawyer stated in a consultation.I don't honestly think I have a snowball's chance of getting a property that a bank, who hasn't already redeemed it, is going to think is worth their time to pursue me after it's finalized - but I'd be lying if I said that didn't spook me a bit.

However, if you know for a fact that you are getting out or already have orders to PCS then an integrity check may be in order because you will be lying on your mortgage application when you sign the part that says you intend to occupy the property for at least one year.
