In my opinion South Florida is a solid market for fix and flipping...There's a lot of competition out there for deals, so the tough part is finding good deals where the numbers work, but that's not an insurmountable obstacle.

5% shouldn't be an insurmountable hurdle.

And that's the problem; the insurmountable problem facing anyone interested in becoming an appraiser today.Unfortunately, it is (for all intents and purposes) completely and totally impossible to become an appraiser.

I dove deep into the strategy a couple of years ago and there were a few insurmountable obstacles. 

That was pretty insurmountable, all we could do was work to stay afloat as a couple.

While nothing was insurmountable, I can relate to how the situations could prevent other new investors from moving forward.
