To be honest, I wasn't sure if buying property in Chicago (Roger's Park) was the right "investment" given our city's problems, but I just love the city so much I just had to get the property when I could.

I don't like it I have to be honest - I think part of the reason you're cashflowing is the low interest rate and relatively high downpayment.
