University of Kentucky and Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Land Swap: In 2018, the University of Kentucky exchanged 250 acres near its Coldstream Research Campus for control of several important roads in and around campus, contributing to economic development opportunities and improved urban planning. 

Syracuse is definitely experiencing a lot of hype at the moment because of Micron, and we're seeing lots of renovated options on the market in areas that likely won't benefit from the new campus.

Putting it all together: If I were starting over and looking for a house-hack in Denver, CO today, I'd be looking for a 4 bed / 3 bath property in the $500K - $600K range in an up and coming area (like Aurora near the medical campus).

Getting connected with a campus organization to advertise your rental may be a good idea.

I drove up route 9 thru Schodack, Greenbush and Rensselaer the other week and those campuses are huge.

I advertise via Sabbatical Homes and Harvard Off-Campus Housing and insist my leases begin on Sep 1, Jan 1 or Jun 1 and end on Dec 31, May 31 or Aug 31. 

We use furnish finders, have connected with some faculty on campus at the university nearby and have even gotten in contact with hospitals nearby to hopefully get traveling nurses soon, too.

As a full-time student living on campus, I’m looking for part-time opportunities that could help me gain some experience in the real estate industry while also make a little bit of money.
