I’d write up a warning letter that dog feces is unacceptable where families and children play and poses a health hazard to the other tenants due to bacteria insects and spreading of disease .

I can paint that doesn't bother me, its the carpet and whatever bacteria or health hazards that could be lingering around. ive been in the apartment since the death, and every time I look at the carpet I'm wondering if bodily fluids did get on the carpet and if my landlords are just being cheap.

I would also recommend getting a bacteria test done if it's a private well (E. coli and total coliform).
