The unfortunate reality is that the BRRRR book made a lot of sense when it was published, but with the high rates now, BRRRR is much harder to accomplish.

Lake side homes are more desirable for short term rentals in this area but not impossible to accomplish.

Yes, there’s still a lot to learn and accomplish.

The amount of work and effort to get this accomplished and what it really saves you is not what you think it will be.

While $85K is no small number I am confident that we will be able to pay it back before the end of next year and still accomplish our goal of purchasing a minimum of one property a year.   

The fact of the matter is, when you sell or buy a business, you are entering into a business partnership with the person on the other end of the transaction.Yes, the partnership is limited (partial buyouts aside), but what you will be accomplishing during your time together is significant.Due diligence can take months.

To accomplish this, you need an income that outpaces inflation.
