Are you back linking to your site from here, or just having it in your info creates a link that gives some juice?

Like I mentioned above, I'm looking to build backlinks..

It's also great for SEO as you build strong back links to your site. 

On page optimization (essentially rewriting all your content so it’s unique and will help rankings), off-page (all your local listings, directories, etc), back-link building, consistent content creation, getting that content on high authority pages as a third party contributor, ideally linking back to your site, etc.

You can add some back links (links on other popular sites back to yours) but in the last few years Google has changed their algorithm to place less value on this.

I'm going to have to put in more work (additional content and getting backlinks) to build my traffic up.  

So now it is your job to make sure all the bad SEO is erased otherwise your company will have a damaged reputation.Most companies focus a lot on backlinks.

If they have question subheadings, try including that.One of the largest ranking factors is backlinks.

You rank #1 because your traffic finds your website the most useful website relative to the specific keywords they typed into Google.ANYONE that dares tell you about backlinks, and some BS 2 tier linking profile and all that crap... knows NOTHING about SEO.So you want to rank#1?
