I'm sure you can find Prefabricated homes on line that you can buy and they come in a bunch or parts and then you put it together but its not going to be built on a chassis, that is a huge characteristic of a Transportable home like the others.Now back to the fact that you may never have seen a mobile/manufactured house outside of a mobile home park, depending on where you live that could be true, New York City or other high density areas are not going to be where you find these homes.
