The area directly south of UNM is the student rental ghetto (not well maintained properties).The Uptown area (Coronado mall) is another area that seems to be popular and has amenities (mall, restaurants, Trader Joes, etc).

He says it was the banks fault for offering the loans and being greedy, while I don't totally disagree it was the idiot consumer who bought a $700k house on a teacher's salary because the bank told them they could.  

Usually real estate doesn't change overnight so while it's happening the key is to somehow make hay without getting greedy or getting caught up in the madness.

However, Sellers and their agents are greedy, so you will be asked to go "best and final".  

I'm a big Warren Buffett fan and since my local market is rather hot, I can't help thinking of his famous quote:"Be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful"I'm not trying to time the market, rather I'm seeking advice from experienced investors as to their strategy in the current cycle.

Hello everyone, I recently had rented my house to a very greedy and ugly couple.
