Hello everyone, so I just received my first tiny house it’s 560sqft but here in New York that’s worth atleast 300k.

I've seen the trend on Tiny Home communities and would love to learn about permitting, zoning, cost estimating, financing... etc. 

Hi everyone,I am in the process of starting a tiny house development and had some questions about a construction loan for it.A lender I inquired with said that there is a 150k minimum appraisal to get a loan.

Wondering if anyone has experience of obtaining land, permits and build tiny/container house or cabin?

The landlord can only afford to rent them at this price because the house is paid off or their mortgage is tiny since they bought years ago.

The interest earned will be tiny compared to the reserves being collected when it comes time to pay for the expense.John Corey

Some get listed as "room for a pool" but once surveyed and a site plan is worked up, there is not enough SQ ft left or you end up with a bathtub pool and tiny pool deck.

The only one under 60k thats come up was a tiny 1 bed for 35k that needed pretty much work and it was owner occupant only.

Cory, I think I saw a tiny home community also in Nash County... which sparked my latent interest.

You may want to consider pricing for that week since the demand will be just a tiny bit higher...
