It's an inexpensive, golf-ball size gizmo that snaps onto a water pipe, reads even the most infinitesimal movement of water (slow leaks) and sends that info via bluetooth back to a central computer.

The adhesive strips are holding just fine, but the movement means that the seams pull apart just bit, creating tiny lines and gaps for dirt.So, I don't recommend vinyl planking over a wavy floor unless you can add a subfloor that truly levels it out AND unless your floor is totally stable.
