I have been contemplating, if/when the challenging of the appraisal fails, should I move forward and pay the difference on the property?

Hi,I am moving to Beaumont, Texas for work this fall and am contemplating on what to purchase/do to plan ahead.

There are numerous risks to homeowners who contemplate a short sale and you should always encourage them to speak with an attorney or accountant.There are far to many things to cover that could go wrong, but at least you're checking it out NOW before you start which is good.

I've begun to contemplate investing out of state in order to find a better market.

MFR contemplation has also been haunting me.

I have contemplated investing out-of-state however, most people I've spoken to don't recommend purchasing a single family income property outside of where I'm living or i.e. too far away that I wouldn't be able to drive to it in a short period of time. 

My good friend and I have been contemplating on investment ideas for a while and are both getting into this at the same time. 

I'm even contemplating a live/work space as an option as well.

I am looking into investing in Canada and am contemplating on a turnkey investment as well.  

specially the tip at the end if they pay attention to detail, I have contemplating getting a VA.
