Wasn't about to lose a months rent because of my perfectionism, wanting to the paint to look perfect, when most renters care more about getting in than a small discoloration.My rentals are pretty nice; they notice all the cleanliness, nice shiny hardwood floors, clean newer appliances, orderless, no damage etc, so the paint spot no big deal in this case.Hope that help you out some Josef and saves you some time and money :-)Cheers,- Joe

And some tenants are very messy and they give a negative impression of the property.So for SFHs I like the property empty, cleaned, painted, maybe some new floor coverings, refinished hardwoods, maybe new countertops(granite) and in general dressing the place up to look as best as it can.
