From the HUD website:Housing discrimination based on your race, color, national origin, religion, sex, family status, or disability is illegal by federal law.

This guy is 31, is on full disability and had a 'mental breakdown' 2 years ago according to his mom (contacted her from the background check I ran on him.)

No excuses - I don't care about your disability, pregnancy, or any other issue.

Specifically, do not discriminate against any of the Fair Housing protected classes (i.e. race, color, religion, gender, physical or mental disability, etc.)For what it's worth, I don't see any problem with what you are doing.

Hey all,Turns out, in TX (possibly elsewhere) you can defer taxes at the age of 65 or disabled.

If the individual renting has a disability and require the pet then you cannot discriminate.

Then she hit me with, "she's disabled" so that puts all discussion about refinance off the scope.  

I work in disability services at a community college, am a landlord in Oregon, and was a pit bull mom for 11 years. 

No one should receive anything - Section 8, food stamps, even military/ss disability - without some type of work unless you are 100% physically & mentally disabled.

If they had a whole life policy and became disabled the company will pay their whole life premiums.
