@Phillip Hooks-Wright aside from the debate as to whether it’s legal or not... there is almost no business on earth that you can start legally with zero money.Even if you are providing a service you may need tools, bank account, insurance, invoicing system, quick books... something.I would work on building up some Capital through working and saving, then look to invest in a business.

I concentrate on buying properties in NW Denver suburbs (Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Northglenn, and Broomfield), but occasionally find houses in Boulder County/Longmont areas.Most of my deals over the last three years were REOs, but those recently dropped of the face of the earth (or at least in Denver).

Even the google earth pics show the house boarded up and a guy walking into the yard with two chairs as if he is living there.Taxes are a whopping $400, actually less, a year.But this is why I am reaching out to you in Texas especially since I have seen there are quite a few BP'ers who have Abilene listed as their home town.
