The old unsealed permeable slab in the garage could have been a major harbinger of nastiness of years past, with god knows what being done in there and the slab soaking it up; that being said, the epoxy should seal that off fairly well...

You can take a black light and see the extent of the urine damage on floors,walls,ceiling,etc.If the animals have been peeing in the corners it can soak the wood and floors.You want to make sure you really get rid of the smell before selling.

Even if they clean poop twice a day, not all puppies poop at the same time...there will always be poop smell in the home while the puppies are there, and the urine will possibly soak into floor and/or molding...and the puppies walk through the stuff and track it everywhere.I would say that renting to them is probably not a good idea.
