As the leader you get paid for the work you do upfront, throughout the deal, and on the back end.

So part of the strategy would likely need to be done in relationship with local religious groups who are also interested with transforming their communities.

There is a huge religious based company/buyer in our area and as we all know Pittsburgh's money lies in multi family units, big time.

Between the seller's attorney being based in NYC but practicing law in NJ (she wasn't good at it), my attorney being selectively responsive and apparently missing important emails, the seller's attorney observing a million religious holidays and being mostly unavailable, the fact that BOTH attorneys were so busy with court cases that my poor AR was of little priority, AND that ALL of this was going on around the holidays (Nov/Dec)???

At one point in time (before Enron) a CPA was the second most trusted profession in this country, right behind priests, pastors and other religious leaders.  

Should I mention that you should vet your mentors or "leaders" outside that group.

You don't neeed to be first but it needs to satnd outand draw attention professionaly.Stay away from names that may imply a political or religious view.

I do plan on separating personal and business expenses religiously.

I have some leaders I'm working with already just trying to get more input from people here that may have experience in this type of real estate investment or really business.
