It's something that won't necessarily be for everyone and may not be a long-term solution, but there's definitely a niche especially as the tech sector continues to grow. 

Some markets change drastically, specially depending on the economy trade sector they are, but on most markets there is a pattern. 

The problem with professional like us is we're actually lazy as the world is already hunting us down so any serious real estate business makes me nervous LOL also i dont enjoy real estate that much because : (i) it is one of sector that's lacking innovation (ii) it's driven by gov. action on the financing (iii) it's long term process and kinda boring. 

And its a lot of work.I like the stock market, but valuations across most sectors are very frothy.Extra cash I have now is going to risk-free,  effort-free HYSA, money markets and tbills. 

It's happening in the private sector, but a NASA type investment as happened in computing would be awesome.As far as "Govt telling us what to do", well I've been in LA for 25 years.

It's about 3 hrs from NYC, but has diverse job sectors and a great blend of both cash flow and appreciation.  

Hoping to purchase a building soon and start into this sector of real estate 

Inventory levels in our targeted sector are unusually low.

The problem is that most jobs do not last.All private sector jobs are temporary.

It is a fact that the "alternative energy" sector receives billions in direct taxpayer subsidies each year.It is a fact that the oil and gas industry receives NO direct taxpayer subsidies.
