Maybe it is just female caution about meeting strangers.

The juice probably won't be worth the squeeze.If you rent the SS to anyone, you now have the issue of a bunch of strangers constantly coming to the property where your MFR tenants live.

Standard stuff.What I do remember clearly to this day, is being in the middle of logging operations when a stranger drove up. 

I am almost leaning towards sending a general and "cookie-cutter" letter to these homeowners because I don't know how I would feel receiving a letter from a complete stranger with some personal details about my life and family.
