But that risk diminishes over a longer horizon and real estate is fantastic in the long-term.Whether you invest should depend on your short- and long-term goals.

I think everything after the house hack is potentially TBD as, hopefully, you'll keep learning about real estate and broaden your mind and horizons so you can determine what area of real estate excites and draws you.

I also notice that PriceLabs is set up to support longer bookings in the longer time horizon, and will aim to place shorter bookings in between, and also aim to fill in "orphan days" in between those.  

What horizon are looking at in terms of timeline to reach your goals?

I'm a buy-and-hold investor so given a 20+ year time horizon, current market fluctuations may be moot given the lifetime of the investment.
