Transport can be prohibitive, I'm not sure if you would find a mover that will do this long of a move and be aware, when moving homes from one area there can be issues with climate ... ex ( wind zone ratings in hurricane prone areas, snow load for the roof ) .  

There are also effective ways at making them resistant to excessive heat.Since they are originally built for transport, they can be easily moved when they need to be.They can withstand practically any extreme weather, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes.

They offer lots of price points to fit any budget and you get to choose your level of involvement with transportation and assembly.

You should reach out to Kokosing Construction or ODOT- Ohio Department of Transportation.

Each area should be evuated to determine its population and employment growth, future business plans, and the overall demand that fits your plan/goals,  it’s proximity to major employers, it’s school district reputation, and any public transportation that has a nearby stop.  

Do they transport too?

I have always been of the belief that a contractor deserves a markup on material for going through the trouble of ensuring timely ordering, delivery, transport and exchanges/returns which is inevitable.

We did two things: ordered some stuff delivered to our primary residence (TVs, kitchen items, etc bought during a Prime Day sale) and transported it to our STR via a Penske truck, and then ordered the majority of furniture from a store near our STR.I recommend buying local to your STR if they can store your furniture in their warehouse until you're ready to move in. 

I like multi's with off street parking (transportation to jobs), something that the mills run short of, or its a really long walk. 

The only downside is that it needs to be transported to the location and that may cause some form of stress to the property while en route to its destination.My concern is that when I spoke to the agent who is assisting me, she mentioned that a modular home will not be listed as a Single-Family unit in the MLS.
