There's a lot that would go into that and some other things to consider:- Addressing/Zoning and obtaining separate suite numbers for the single address- New storefronts and separate entrances- Separation of HVAC and plumbing- Separation of electrical services and separate meters- Parking lot size/capacity- Access to each space/egressMake sure you're talking to the right architect and engineers.

My case is that I the available land it’s narrow and I can only place a 27-28 wide MH to meet the set backs of the city of Shelton, WA and I found a brand new MH on Factory Expo, Oregon for $47k 3 b 2 bath, but the main entrance is located on a side so I don’t know how aesthetically might that affect the fact that all the houses around have the main door facing the street and my MH will not.

The problem - the front entrance - there are two front entrance doorwayrs that are in the middle of the house - one toward the left / one toward the right.It's a brick exterior.So if you fill in one door, the front entrance will look off center.

Completely separate entrance at the back of the house allows for a nicely separated upstairs unit and a fair price for rent. it doesn't cashflow right now but what I end up paying to live here is pretty much all going towards the principal..

@Serge Dulau something that has worked for me for house hack in San Francisco is renting out furnished rooms, I looked for house that I could split out into multiple units and rent them out with their individual entrances for 2-3 month leases
