Over a 3 month period, the chlorine caused the sink, the faucet, the stove burners, and all the metal utensils to become covered with surface rust. 

This included painting the entire unit, a new refrigerator, new stove vent, window screens, blinds, shower caulk, carpet clean, removal of left behind items, HVAC service, level ac unit, replace smoke detectors, replace toilet seats, and several other small items.

It’s winter in MN and my renter contacted me about a non-working stove with smell of gas.

I only supply Stoves and wall AC units...my lease states the they are there as a courtesy, and the tenant is repsonsible if they break...HOWEVER...I always eat the cost of repair or replacment.

When the stove failed we provided a new scratch & dent because they were great tenants BUT the condition was if it required repairs they would be responsible for it.
