My thought on a situation like that is checking the fresh-air intake, and the exhaust, to see if your getting a cross breeze too strong that's blowing out pilot.

I am exhausting all of my options before selling.

For example, has the exhaust hood above the stove been cleaned, including the pipe to the exterior?

There are companies that do exhaustive market research on zip codes, income levels, demographics etc. and sell their research to companies primarily and research institutions secondarily.

Is it possible these are the wrong type of vent when someone replaced them at some point in the past where these are exhaust vents and not dryer vents?

Looking to exhaust other free or cost effective resources first.
