@Bjorn Ahlblad There are few people this is true for such as those born seriously disabled.

We've entertained the idea of getting into real estate investing, I proposed the following plan with my limited knowledge:     Step1: Move to a bigger house to accomodate our bigger family (2 kids) price range 400k-550k, use a VA loan for this second home to minimize downpayment, I have 10% disability so no funding fee.

I have worked in the industry for 10 years and now I am working with developmentally disabled adults .

The Fair Housing Act affords no protections to individuals with or without disabilities who present a direct threat to the persons or property of others.

So I’m a Disabled Veteran and co-own a house with my younger sister (I own 75% but we split the mortgage).

Also bring in ~$2300 disability 

So, it made me start to wonder if others know of people with Down syndrome or other disabilities have found success in real estate. 

It’s very hard to just get up and move since I’m physically disabled & my dad’s 71.

Also, if the seller is in a protected class, (elderly, disabled and so on), the laws and the courts become very protective of the seller.

I haven't found any way to disable these notifications, without disabling all forum notifications.
