Or is it that so money people have set out on the wholesaling path, didnt learn what the needed to learn, did terrible deals, and caused legislation to be passed to cause a barrier to entry for wholesaling?

In fact, new legislation passed just last September, 2017 clarified the rights of wholesalers to do exactly what I just described.
