I went and bought a $200 industrial label printer and special security labels to mark everything that is mine in a unit.

There is a Federal Program (Administration for Community Living) that provides funding and technical support to Community Development and Housing Preservation organizations throughout the country that focus on building or restoring housing that can then be used for Supportive Housing (http://www.acl.gov/About_ACL/FederalInitiatives/Ho...)The challenge is that the majority of this funding is targeted to the chronically homeless, Veterans, and people with HIV/AIDS.

I am considering the same approach like offering a $25 rent credit for doing this chore.The other option could be to request from the city two more regular trash carts and label them #1, #2, #3, #4 and have each tenant take out and retrieve their own. 

Everyone has a story, no need to blanket label people what you think they might be.

This literally just meant I went down to Wells Fargo, set up a "trust" account, which was just like any other account, but it has the "trust" labeled on the checks, etc.  

Also, all of our rentals have the same color inside so that 5 gallon bucket of paint can go anywhere; no more labeling cans of paint with the property address.
