Just know when you are sold or given a list, that same list has been given out thousands of times.I don't mean to sound like an ultra cynical person but jJust use your gut feeling and best judgement to see if it seems legitimate.

As a practical matter, you can try to negotiate with the lender; you can try to refinance and pay off the lender with a new loan, or you can go through the process of the lender getting a judgement, attempting to enforce said judgment, and at a minimum ruining your credit for 7 years.
