As long as there are no emergencies, communicating in writing can be primarily done through Google translate with review from a Spanish speaking friend who is willing to help.  

@Amber Hooks lots of good information here and I'll try to translate some of this as best I can.There are some experts who say that you can get the same protection as an LLC provides with a good insurance policy.

From my perspective they would be benefitting, but perhaps they would see me, a relative or co-worker, as someone just seeking money to fuel my own investments.Perhaps once I have confidence in my evaluation of possible deals, that will translate into an attractive opportunity for someone else. 

The inexpensive property will probably translate to lower rent, more frequent vacancies and less cash flow.I'm a fan of the second choice!
