There is usually a general Q&A session from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM and then the featured speaker goes from around 6:45 until 8:00 PM  or so. 

They had two guest speakers, plenty of time for networking, and vendors had small displays set up to answer questions and assist you.

@Darren Sager  has been blowing it up with some awesome meetups and speakers in the NYC area from what I can tell.

REIAs are good places to meet like-minded individuals, but the speakers they bring in are there to prey on the masses at the REIA, so hold onto your wallet when they start spouting with their silver tongues.Jack

Each meeting will have a speaker on something relevant to RE investing, such as analyzing ROI, Finding and financing, commercial investing, taxes, wholesaling, etc. 

@Bob Malecki was, and still is, a frequent contibutor here as well as a speaker at note industry events, so I got in touch with him.

The best webinar I ever did was how to lose money in Note Investing.All the other speakers were talking about how to do it, and how easy it was and how much money you can make, but no one ever wants to discuss the pitfalls.
