You'll still have to press start/stop, but I like to use the Stride app because then I can also export an Excel sheet at the end of the year to write off on my taxes for business purposes (if the driving is tax deductible for you, that is).It'll also show a map of your route that you can tap and zoom in on on the phone, but you can't visualize it on the computer through a web app.
