Plenty of great things going on....like Oracle HDQ move to Houston, Tesla in Austin, Several Billion $ worth of chip plants around Sherman, basically new WF HDQ in Irving, Schwab HDQ in Southlake, State Farm and Liberty Mutual insurance in/around Richardson. 

The state's 3rd largest university is located here as is a large nuclear plant that regularly brings in MTR-type tenants for outages. 

To your point, they are about to develop a massive battery plant between Statesboro and Savannah so that was another draw to that area.
