After the "start over", did you approach recruiting differently & how were the results?

The idea is- I'll pony up the initial cash, provide the brokerage with a stream of consistent listings, help recruit agents, and handle the strategic business decisions/ administrative duties, while my partner will handle the day-to-day operations of the business.

The deals for the packages are too good to be true and include park entrances so makes it so much cheaper for families.What i would say is take a vacation yourself, and check out all the areas.In terms of real estate licence, many brokers are recruiting right now.

What do you charge for recruiting new tenants?

Running a successful STR comes down to 3 Ps: pics, people & pricing.1) Decorate your house nicely & pay a professional photographer to take some amazing pics2) Hire amazing people - cleaners, handyman, recruit some neighbors to help fill in the gaps, & self-manage or hire an offshore VA to manage the property if you'd rather make yourself rich instead of making a local property manager rich (more on that here: https://www.biggerpockets.com/... )3) Price fiercely to maximize profits not occupancy (they're not the same thing).

The owner/landlord who actively recruits quality tenants and manages the property to the contract is the person who you want.Congrats on your soon-to-be new acquisition. 

Advertise to recruit a lot of prospective tenants and then narrow down the ideal candidate through the vetting process.
