In the meantime, I would like to gain experience through employment with an existing real estate or property management company.Is there anyone out there that can provide me with some good advice/guidance as to the best and most practical route to achieve that goal?

I want to start building our portfolio and would love some experienced help with direction.Over the past ten years, it seems like I've had numerous deals/ideas that just didn't come to fruition and I'm just feeling a bit defeated. 

Always meet in person:  This will give you a good idea of the person, if they're smoking a cigarette while talking to you, or being very negative about their previous landlord make sure you make note of that.4.)

I had no idea what they were talking about until I dared ask for more detail.
