My very limited REI experience comes from owning a house in NE Atlanta (read Norcross) GA, and renting rooms to my college friends (I just graduated from Georgia Tech, soooo .... go jackets!!!).

I would bring an umbrella and a light jacket, but you'll probably not have to use them--especially if you stay in Waikiki (or any outer parts of the island) because it's nearly always sunny!

The guy pops off his hobo jumpsuit and changes into a nice shirt and jacket he has in his car.

You know it's addictive when you think you kicked the habbit but you relapse and, oh wait a minute, there's an ambulance in my driveway....what, two guys in white uniforms, they are holding some kind of jacket it looks like.....I think I better go.......

You will wear that jacket for a while.I'm not a real estate professional, but I have looked into that as well and I have bought and sold several deals.

So be sure to have a light jacket with you in case there are too many of us to move inside!

If you touch the plastic jacket, you will not get shocked, unless their is a nick or cut in the plastic. 

It smelled SO bad I had to go to my truck and get an extra jacket kept in there to tie over my nose to go back in.
