I receive monthly payments from a personal injury settlement, but because this does not count as income, I don’t believe I can get approved for a regular home loan program even though I have an excellent credit score and some cash for a down payment.

In the event of negligence and injury (for example a roof accident slip or what not) I would imagine that since the buyer is ordering the work it will be our responsibility and liability.

We called Adult Protective Services and let them evaluate the situation, then they contacted family members and had him placed in a home.I also had a woman that was suffering from a brain injury after a car accident.
