Turns out the estimate for a full of the entire basement gut down to the studs with mold removal and encapsulation and duct cleaning and fungicide treatment of HVAC system comes in at around $14K.

PS: insulating the crawl space walls is a very bad idea unless you do the work to properly encapsulate the crawlspace.

@Shawn Lewis W Fayette not Fayetteville. mitigate lead paint = eliminate it = no more lead paint. usually entails ripping/encapsulating window/door/base trim/windows/doors....maybe banisters/railing nonsense.
