Hovila or is it...Hughes :wink: ...I, along with the OP MikeOH I think, would like to understand how it is that Edmonton has such a higher ROI on real estate investments than every large market in the states.This guy who is managing your units for 1% of gross rents must but nuts, or the people that live in your units must be robots, is he a partner?

Granted, this number is skewed by a few metropolitan markets {Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton}, but even here in the "relatively poor" Maritime Provinces the average house price is ~$175K (up 5.7% year over year)As of 2011 {last year of published data}, median family income in Canada was $72,240 and average family income was slightly higher at 79,600 ... the trend over the last decade has been keeping par with inflation.
